WHAT is this life if, full of care,   DSC_0002

We have no time to stand and stare?—

No time to stand beneath the boughs,
And stare as long as sheep and cows:

No time to see, when woods we pass,
Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass:

No time to see, in broad daylight,
Streams full of stars, like skies at night:

No time to turn at Beauty's glance,
And watch her feet, how they can dance:

No time to wait till her mouth can
Enrich that smile her eyes began?

A poor life this if, full of care,
We have no time to stand and stare. DSC_0004
Today I took my camera outside in search of the color green. I stopped and stared at my bushes, ivy and pachysandra  and looked longingly for any sign of Photo on 2011-02-17 at 19.06 #2 spring. Im trying to be more present and more aware. To look, listen and feel. I  also started working in a new journal/sketchbook. I am not allowing myself to use any paint or any collage items in this book. It is strictly for drawing and writing.
I need to practice drawing everyday. But now I need to get ready to watch Idol.
