I have been procrastinating and I need to make a decision about photo editing software. I have used photo shop Elements in past. I am wondering if I should buy a more complex software. I would love input on this decision. Please tell me what your favorite software is?

I have also been sorting through old photographs and once again I am shocked that my children are growing/grown up.
