No Artists have wild desires and a terrible hunger to achieve… Without it they haven’t the juice for striving or loving. But desire also can make them greedy and turn dreams into unrealizable obsessions. (Eric Maisel)

f the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. It it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day. (E. B. White)

Where have I been this past week? No not in my yard but on the beach in the South Pacific.I have been transported back to to a world of song, music, paint, costumes and beautiful colors. Shades of blues, yellows and reds. It has been an exhausting week. I was frustrated that I was not more organized with the set and I found myself racing against the clock to finish. But it is finished and opened last night. A beautiful show. A show written sixty years ago that still carries pertinent themes for today. A show that symbolizes love and the desire for love. Love conquers hate, fear, and despair.
And when your youth

And joy invade my arms,
And fill my heart as now they do,
Then younger than springtime, am I,
Gayer than laughter, am I,
Angel and lover, heaven and earth,
Am I with you!

You gotta have a dream, if you don’t have a dream,How you gonna have a dream come true?
