June 6, 2007 Patience Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them – every day begin the task anew. Saint Frances de Sales.
Patience is exactly what I need for today and this entire weekend. This is recital weekend for Megan’s Dance Studio. Tomorrow is dress rehearsal and it is a long day of rehearsing. I work backstage so call time is 8:00 a.m. and if all goes well we will be finished by 8:30 p.m. Tomorrow PJ is leaving for “senior/beach week” in Ocean City Maryland. This is long lived tradition in this area, after graduation the kids head to the beach for a week. I did it twenty-eight years ago. So I guess for the next week I will be saying consecutive Hail Marys…. please feel free to say a couple extra for all the kids at beach week.
Here is PJ at the beach when he was two.
I am still plodding along with photoshop elements. I am using huge amounts of patience and I am making progress.
Here is what I worked on this evening. I had already created the mosaic I was playing with color and texture.
The chemist who can extract from his heart’s elements compassion, respect, longing, patience, regret, surprise, and forgiveness and compound them into one can create that atom which is called love. – Khalil Gibran
