This weekend I lived. Watched movies at home with the kids, I attended an Ayurveda workshop, took Alli and PJ out to lunch, and saw the Bucket List.
Saturday I had the opportunity to attend a workshop about Ayurveda given by Maria Garre
"Ayurveda is one of the oldest systems of natural health care,
originating in the ancient traditions of India over 5,000 years ago.
Now considered one of the leading forms of holistic medicine available
in the West, Ayurveda addresses all factors that influence our quality
of life. The term Ayurveda combines two Sanskrit words–ayur, which means life, and veda, which means science or knowledge. Ayurveda means "the science of life." Chopra center
I find ayurveda fascinating and intend to learn more on the subject.
Today I went to see the movie The bucket List .
I loved it and was not expecting to be so touched by what I thought was a simple movie. I knew I was in emotional trouble when I started crying halfway through the movie.
For those who I have seen the movie the African safari started my tears……I know this was not a sad scene…..I am not sure what in the scene made the tears well up. You can imagine how I was by the end of the movie. I love walking out of a movie feeling like I was given a message. Today as I was walking to my car I kept thinking I get it life can be simple. I am just making it to difficult . So my new motto is my favorite line from the movie and it was Carter saying to Cole…
