Love To Laugh

This one of my favorite Merton quotes. Now a year later do I have the answer to this question? I have part of the answer but I am still searching. I realized that this  question first must be answered with an all encompassing word. Such as I am living for God, Love, Peace etc. I love the fact that Merton added "in detail". I am still defining the details. Today I sat and journaled about the details of my life and what I should write in this post. I was getting frustrated nothing was making sense the same questions written five different ways. I was interrupted PJ who needed a note for school and I decided to give him a couple dollars for lunch. Sc001186e6When I opened my wallet this ticket from the amusement park Funland fell out. I had no idea it was in my wallet. It made me laugh. I decided it was God telling me to lighten up and have fun.
I love being with friends and laughing and I can find humor in almost anything.

How this weekend I wish to partake in activities that make me laugh. On Saturday I am attending a Ayurveda Basics
                          Initiating a Balanced   Approach to Living w/ Maria Garre
                            Saturday February 9th,   11-5pm at
Sol Yoga. Not sure if this defines fun but being away from all the chores of daily life can be at least enjoyable.
So I am sending out my request to God, Happy Buddha, The Universe please help bring more fun into my life. P1010892_3
I want to be around people who are are smiling. People who see that happiness makes the world a better place. I want to laugh until my face hurts. I do not want to spend so much time worrying about things I cannot control. I want laugh.

    I have missed my blog visits lately. So happy to be here this morning! I love that Merton quote. And you know I love Merton all around. But that is a difficult couple of questions to answer I think. It is absolutely true though. I want to sit and think about them a while.
    You seem well. 🙂 This was such a postive post…I love the laughter in the faces, even Buddha!
